At the retail price listed above, this is a true bargain, complete with the best in Co-Motion design, fabrication, and paint, and competitive in function with much more expensive tandems. Speedsters are known for their rock solid handling characteristics, either in light weight mode like you see here, or loaded for touring. So, as mentioned above, this bike is not only a go fast recreational tandem, but with a second set of wheels can assume a totally different personality as a capable touring machine.
Oh, and don't forget the Shimano hydraulic brakes. These have phenomenal stopping power you need to experience to believe.
